XDP is short for eXtra Device Port and is what makes Panasonic
telephone systems more advanced than other manufacturer's equipment.
The
XDP jack located on the back of the telephone allows the user
to connect a Single Line Telephone, cordless phone, modem (allowing
for Internet access from the telephone) credit-card processor,
fax machine, or any other analog device to the station - creating
an additional station (analog).
XDP
allows the user to use an analog device while simulaneously
talking on the digital telephone.
It
cannot be stressed enough how amazing this feature is. By utilizing
XDP, the system increases its station numbers two-fold, and
the flexibility of the system is only limited by the user's
imagination.
All
Panasonic Digital systems sold by us feature XDP, and are available
for a fraction of typical retail. Both dealers and the general
public alike are welcom to take advantage of our wholesale pricing.
In
addition, KX-TD.com offers free remote Maintenance and Programming
with all systems, voicemail, and package deals!* Be sure to
ask a sales representative for more information.
